Being able to hide behind Nono when Momo's Edward Hyde suddenly surfaced. Momo has been getting touchy lately. The once spontaneous landscape of wits pit has now to be threaded with much caution. One wrong statement, and I get the mine explode on me. The interesting thing is, I never know what I said (/keyed) wrong until I see the fireworks. The stress of it kinds of spoils the fun we used to share. I am certainly glad Nono is there to advert the stifling atmosphere before we boil each other's blood bad.

Today, I am also glad for HP's company to Cooling Off Day. Janice Koh was quite a delight to watch - as a vivacious young lass or as a dialect speaking old woman, she pulled each characters off really naturally. I am not too sure I like the play as much as the reviewers who raved about it though, because I feel that too many issues were being covered within the two hours. I did not get to catch the jokes spoken in Malay, and some parts got a little too heavy for me. I guess I was never smart enough to make history and/or politics my thing. There were comic parts though, which to me, was how entertainment should be. I liked those scenes. They satisfied the shallow part of me.

This is also the first time I am at SOTA's theatre. (just thought of registering this! J)

Dinner was good today too. The service staff at Billy Bombers, Cathay were a cheer. Food was not the best, but it wasn't bad. The service guys looked like they really loved their job, and were a fun bantering with.

I have to be thankful for the people with me today.
