The "Rainbow" boys.

Was not feeling the best today, and the guys definitely didn't know, but they put a little cheer in my afternoon just being a company.

It's a wonder the people who come our way.

The split-second smile.

There is this girl with special needs whom I will meet once in a while on the bus. Everytime I see her, she will be staring intently at me, making the already insecure me real uneasy. I never knew how to react, and I will avoid any possible eye contacts with her. It happened again this morning.

In the crowded bus, she looked my way again. She caught my eyes, and I gave her a quick, awkward smile. She smiled back. It all happened within the count of a few seconds before the mob pushed me past her, and further into the rear of the bus. I believe even my colleague right behind me did not notice our exchange.

But I guess I now know what to do when I next see her on the bus again. =)

The company to watch "The Billionaire", nevermind it was spur of the moment and last minute... We shared the theatre probably with only less than ten other persons, and the show wasn't that bad at all!

Plus, I get to satisfy a sudden little craving for subway sandwich.... heh.

the red rose, the pretty chocolate boxes and the 2004 château de mallere.... plus Momo's aptly labelled “老伴" beancurd to complete the day ear-marked for all things lovely... what sweet thoughts!

I think I have never had such a complete set in the decades of V-days I've had.

I'll gladly eat my porridge dinner tonight. Nothing to complain!

Chivalrous colleague who offered help to lug my notebook to work in the morning. Maybe I should also be thankful to that bus driver who drove away without waiting for me to muster enough breath to conquer that split few more steps...  so that I can be late enough to meet help... life's weird sometimes in that sense...

a time to sing.

Been some time since i took out the hymnal. I'm glad i had some time to myself in the evening, just singing some hymns. H* happened to WA me, and when I told her I am happy singing hymns, her text response was "Are you sad?"

No, I am not. And I'm glad I need not be sad to be happy. Singing the hymns just made me happier. Even though my tunes and sometimes off-keys may not have made my neighbours so..
